Sentry Bot: Cthulhu-Borgs

The brief: create a Sentry unit that hunts the player in a sci-fi-horror-stealth game. The vaguely alien machine should evoke deep sea creatures, long legs, tentacles, and malevolence.

My process began with:
Understanding the brief.
Writing and doodling associations and metaphors that evoke the feeling and function.
Prep a reference board.
Machine and deep sea quick studies.
Digital line up of gestural block-ins.
Resolve and refine chosen design.
